Comparison of Single Control Loop Performance Monitoring Methods

چکیده

Well-performing control loops have an integral role in efficient and sustainable industrial production. Control performance monitoring (CPM) tools are necessary to establish further process optimization preventive maintenance. Data-driven, model-free approaches studied this research by comparing the of nine CPM methods industrially relevant simulation. The robustness some is considered with varying fault intensities. demonstrated on a simulator which represents validated state-space model supercritical carbon dioxide fluid extraction process. constructed single-input single-output unit controller for part combination faults industry introduced into Of methods, Kullback–Leibler divergence, Euclidean distance, histogram intersection, Overall Controller Efficiency performed best first simulation case could identify all simulated scenarios. In second case, integral-based Integral Squared Error Time-weighted Absolute had most robust different results highlight applicability construct solid foundation application processes.
